The Digital Content Intern will assist in the execution of marketing and communications efforts at Crosstown Concourse. This part-time role supports content creation including social media, email and website to increase awareness, engagement, and sales. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to enhance their digital content experience, while helping in the planning of Crosstown Concourse’s 10-year anniversary. The intern will report to the Communications Specialist and work closely with the marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Content Intern will support the Communications Specialist in creating and curating content across Crosstown Concourse’s digital channels. Responsibilities include producing weekly newsletters, drafting website content including event listings, landing pages, creating content for social media and e-newsletters.
Content Creation & Social Media
Support the Communications Specialists to create and curate:
– Weekly newsletters ensuring quality and on time distribution.
– Content for the website, including upcoming events, landing pages, and blog content as instructed.
– Engaging content for social media, e-newsletters, and the website.
– Photo and video content on-site to support social media and marketing campaigns.
General Marketing Support
– Support the marketing team in planning and executing promotional campaigns and events.
– Perform other administrative and marketing-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
– Knowledge of email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok).
– Experience with content creation, including photography and video editing, is a plus.
– Excellent writing and communication skills.
– High attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing and communications within a dynamic, community-driven environment. This is a part time support position.
