Special guest Ross Rice, singer-songwriter and lead singer of Human Radio, will join Stereo Sessions to share his journey from Memphis’ cafes and lounges to the glitzy airwaves of MTV during the network’s tastemaking heyday.

WYXR 91.7 FM’s Stereo Sessions presented by Mempho Presents is a monthly series of hi-fi album listening parties that explore Memphis music that fans may have missed. These are the often unheard albums that have become cult favorites over time. Every album in the series reveals the unique sonic ambitions of pioneering Mid-South musicians whose contributions remain influential. Visitors can comfortably sit and listen to each album in full through Memphis Listening Lab’s state-of-the-art EgglestonWorks sound system. They will also hear interviews with the musicians who made the music, as well as those who drew inspiration from it.
