Calling all Memphis music creators—this session is for you. Join the Office of Creative & Cultural Economy at Memphis Listening Lab for the first in a four-part series focused on implementing the Memphis Music Strategy.

This interactive Recommendation Reading Room will review the full set of 25 recommendations in the Memphis Music Strategy, with a special focus on the CREATION segment of the city’s music ecosystem. Your input will help shape short-, mid-, and long-term priorities to strengthen support for local artists.

Why CREATION?
According to the strategy, Memphis’ music ecosystem is made up of five parts:
• Creation
• Production
• Distribution
• Exhibition
• Transverse

This session kicks off the series by centering the voices of those who create—musicians, songwriters, composers, and beyond.
