Memphis-raised artist Daniel Aaron Harris has never let a shaky hand stop him — it’s made him. Growing up in the Mid-South with a Cerebral Palsy diagnosis, Harris found his voice through the encouragement of his mother, his first art teacher, and a lifelong refusal to color inside the lines. Today, as a children’s illustrator, painter, actor, and writer, he creates across a wide range of media — ink, oil, acrylic, graphite, and digital — channeling every part of himself into work that is as joyful as it is distinctive. This opening celebrates an artist who was born to create, and has spent a lifetime proving it.
