Crosstown Concourse Begins Renovations for Crosstown CoWork
Memphis, TN – November 11, 2025 – Crosstown Concourse announced today that it has started renovations for Crosstown CoWork, a new, flexible workspace designed for small businesses, freelancers, remote workers and entrepreneurs who want to be part of the dynamic Concourse community.
Crosstown CoWork will give professionals access to all the amenities of a traditional office — with the added benefit of being surrounded by the creative energy, cultural activity, and collaboration that define Concourse.
“Almost from the beginning, we’ve received constant requests for a space like this,” said Todd Richardson, CEO of Crosstown Concourse. “There are so many people who want to be part of the Concourse ecosystem but don’t need a large office. Crosstown CoWork lets them plug into the community — and the opportunities — that make this place such a catalyst for innovation in Memphis.”
Located at the top of the red spiral stair on the second floor next to Crosstown Arts, Crosstown CoWork will include:
Memberships will be available on a monthly or annual basis, with all-inclusive rates covering utilities, cleaning, high-speed internet, printing and scanning, and mail service.
“The reality is that working from home is not all it’s cracked up to be. Sometimes, you just need a quiet office space that’s all your own with dedicated, secure WiFi,” Richardson added. “Being in Concourse provides daily opportunities to make meaningful connections with other Memphians and help your business grow.”
Crosstown CoWork is expected to be ready for occupancy in early spring. Those interested in an office or dedicated desk can learn more at crosstownconcourse.com.
About Crosstown Concourse
Once home to Memphis’ leading employer, the historic 1.5-million-square-foot Sears, Roebuck & Co. warehouse was built in 1927 and employed 1,500 workers who processed 45,000 orders daily. Abandoned in 1993, the building stood vacant for over 20 years before being reimagined and reopened in 2017 as Crosstown Concourse. This 16-acre campus is now a vibrant community hub that goes “beyond mixed-use,” housing residential, commercial, non-profit, arts, cultural, health, wellness, and educational spaces. The largest LEED Platinum Certified adaptive reuse project in the world, Crosstown Concourse aims to live out the ethos of “better together,” creating an inclusive community that improves the quality of life for all.
