Mad Grocer is ready to celebrate in a big way. Owners Max and Josie don’t just love that NOLA style, they’re former residents and know exactly how to bring the magic of The Crescent City to Crosstown Concourse. The shop is turning February into a full-on Mardi Gras experience; complete with community fun and unforgettable food. 

February 9-17: Community Art Project + Giveaways with Every Purchase!

It all kicks off Monday, February 9th, with a one-of-a-kind Community Art Project where guests can help build a Mardi Gras float alongside local artist Jana Wilson of Vintagia. This festive creation won’t just be a one-day moment, either; the finished float will return to the shop Wednesday, February 11th, for display, and it will be featured in a silent auction running through Fat Tuesday, February 17th, with the winner announced February 18th.

And because every Mardi Gras celebration deserves amazing food, Mad Grocer will also be serving up “Our NOLA Favorites” starting February 9th through Fat Tuesday, February 17th. Expect a rotating lineup of New Orleans-inspired specials packed with the flavors and comfort-food classics that make Mardi Gras season so iconic—straight from the heart of The Crescent City, plus giveaways with every purchase.

And you can’t forget a Mardi Gras staple…King Cake! We all know that Lucy J’s makes the most incredible cinnamon rolls, but have you tried their King Cake? You can order yours and other Mardi Gras-inspired pastries from Lucy J’s to finish your celebration the sweetest way possible. This once-a-year favorite can be ordered now through Fat Tuesday.
