Have you stopped by Crosstown Concourse’s newest grocery and deli? The Mad Grocer & Deli, owned by Max Hussey and Josie Terhune, is serving up some fantastic sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, ready-made take-home and catering options, and more delicious dishes!
Located next to the central atrium, the deli has been open for business since early September. Max and Josie have been dreaming about running their own grocery and deli for quite some time. Their dream first started in California and then found a perfect match in Crosstown Concourse!
The Mad Grocer & Deli is all about creating great deli-style food. Their Mempholatta sandwich, a spin on the classic muffaletta, has been a hit. People also love their hot pastrami and Reuben sandwiches. These favorites are just the beginning of what you can enjoy at the deli!
The team at Mad Grocer takes their craft seriously. Max learned the ropes under famous chef Emeril Lagasse and is in charge of the kitchen. He’s hands-on with the butchery and curing process. That means you can expect homemade goodies like corned beef pastrami and so much more.
The Mad Grocer isn’t just about eating in; they’ve got you covered for meals at home and catering needs too. Not only do they cater special events and meetings, but they also offer meal-prep kits and take-and-bake items so you can enjoy their flavors in your own home. Plus, their wonderful selection of delicious produce, meats, cheeses, and other grocery staples is a convenient way to stock up on all the essentials (and treats) you need.
Whether you’re looking for a memorable sandwich, a delicious meal at home, or high-quality groceries, The Mad Grocer & Deli is here to serve you! Visit them in the Central Atrium, open Mondays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
