After 13 years in business, Hugh Balthrop finally feels confident in the trajectory of his company, Sweet Magnolia Gelato, which opened its first production facility in Memphis this week.
“Celebrating 13 years is sweet,” Balthrop said. “It’s a labor of love for us that’s created by us and inspired by y’all. Going through COVID and everything, the ups and the downs, this is the first time in a long time I feel good about the business.”
