Born in Barcelona in 1998, vocalist, pianist, and composer Mar Vilaseca is quickly making her mark on the jazz world. A Juilliard graduate, she has performed internationally and collaborated with renowned artists like Emmet Cohen and Jeremy Pelt.

In this performance, Mar presents a vibrant repertoire of her latest compositions—songs inspired by her journey moving to a new place and the emotions and experiences it brought. Her music blends the warmth of late ’70s and early ’80s rock and R&B with a touch of jazz and improvisation.
