Visiting a theme park always provides a bit of thrill and a feeling that you are a close to danger. Imagine visiting a theme park where instead of a rickety roller coaster or weird side show, you got to live a fantasy of time’s past but where everyone else around you is a robot you can either kill or have your way with. Now imagine those robots, indistinguishable from other humans, become sentient and start to not quite like your plans for them. WESTWORLD launched an entire franchise of out of control killer robots terrorizing some folks, really just looking for a good time. With Yul Brynner (THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN!), the incomparable Richard Benjamin (LOVE AT FIRST BITE! SATURDAY THE 14TH!!) and most importantly Dick Van Patten!!! (EIGHT IS ENOUGH!, THE SHAGGY D.A.!! & MULTIPLE APPEARANCES ON THE LOVE BOAT!!! AS DIFFERENT CHARACTERS!!!)
The Crosstown Arthouse Film Series showcases a diverse collection of independent, international, historically significant, artistic, experimental, cult, underground and documentary features.
