Crosstown Concourse isn’t just a place, it’s a thriving, all-in-one community where creativity, culture, and everyday convenience come together. For those who call Parcels @ Crosstown Concourse home, living here means more than a great location, it means having some of Memphis’s best dining, entertainment, and amenities right outside your door.

From grabbing your morning coffee at French Truck Coffee to meeting friends for a meal at Farm Burger Memphis or Global Café, residents enjoy unmatched access to some of the city’s most beloved food spots without ever leaving the building. Add in craft cocktails from Art Bar, bites from Briza, Vietnamese dishes from Bao Toan, and even grocery essentials just steps away. Daily life becomes both effortless and elevated.

But Crosstown is more than convenience, it’s an experience. Whether it’s catching a live performance in the Green Room at Crosstown Arts, exploring rotating art installations, or enjoying the open greenspace and splash area, every day offers something new. The building itself is designed to bring people together, creating a unique blend of energy, creativity, and connection.

We interviewed residents and asked them to share what makes life at Crosstown so special, from favorite meals and go-to hangout spots to unforgettable events and everyday moments that define the experience.

What impact has the Crosstown Concourse rehabilitation had on the community?

As I’ve watched Concourse grow over the last couple of years, I feel like it’s the first time we have a place where the full spectrum of Memphis creativity has a place to hang out. I see old and young musicians working together, and the racial makeup is really refreshing. Also, as a parent who is raising kids interested in the arts, it’s great to see teens come out of school every day at 3:00, take pictures, make videos, dance.. just hanging out and being creative.

What is your favorite Crosstown Concourse show or event to date?

There are two: First, the Jonathan Kirksey Mellotron Concert…
Second, Darius Wallace’s one-man show at Crosstown Arts Theater; it was packed with people from all walks of life.

Something that has surprised you about living at Concourse?

It’s the way creativity spills into everyday spaces. You might come down for coffee or a bite to eat and suddenly find yourself surrounded by dancers, photographers, and artists all doing their thing.

What does an ideal day at Crosstown Concourse look like for you?

An ideal day starts with an iced chai latte and breakfast sandwich from French Truck Coffee, followed by relaxing on the second-floor terrace. I might catch a pop-up performance in the atrium, take a walk with my dog around the greenspace, and end the evening with a show in the Green Room and a cocktail—like a 90 in the Shade—from Art Bar.

How has Crosstown Concourse impacted your life?

Living here means I have access to everything; food, art, music, and community—24/7. It’s hard to imagine living anywhere else with this level of convenience and inspiration.
