In a large, nondescript warehouse on Jackson Avenue sits salvaged relics from the Sears Crosstown facility.

Roughly 700 unique items were removed from the building and inventoried before demolition began, including furniture, equipment, building finishes and fixtures.

These items stand as the only physical remnants of the life that once coursed through Concourse’s halls.

Take this virtual trip through our warehouse to see some of these artifacts, as well as never-before-seen photos of these items as they were originally found in the Sears building.

To honor the history of what came before Crosstown Concourse, select items from this collection will be on display in the East Atrium on Opening Day— Concourse’s first historical exhibit of many to come.
