A murdered patriarch, a mysterious meteor, a vengeful husband, a creature beneath the stairs, and an impossibly persistent army of cockroaches come together in this gleefully macabre horror anthology. Directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King, Creepshow pays colorful tribute to the lurid EC horror comics of the 1950s. With its stylized visuals, gruesome practical effects, dark humor, and memorable cast, the film delivers five wicked tales in which cruelty, greed, and bad behavior receive appropriately monstrous rewards.
