By day, it’s bustling with the regulars of the many Crosstown office spaces. Crosstown fosters productivity; every floor is filled with different spaces designed for independent or group work open to all, and of course, free wifi.
Grab a coffee and snack from French Truck, a New Orleans based cafe located on the first floor. French Truck offers a variety of coffee drinks and pastries, and you’ll also find a menu of breakfast sandwiches, salads, waffles, and more!
Speaking of food, there are plenty of options for lunch around the building such as Farm Burger, Abners, and I Love Juice Bar. There’s also Curb Market which has a hot bar stocked with fresh meats and veggies, a salad bar, and a grab-and-go cooler in addition to a small selection of groceries. The front patio of the building offers lots of covered seating.
If you need a snack or pick-me-up to get through that lull between lunch and dinner, you can grab a treat from Lucy J’s Bakery or Pop-A-Roos Gourmet Popcorn stand.
Though Wolf River Brisket, Trasimeno, and Global Café are also open for lunch, they make great after office hours destinations, too. Trasimeno has a nice selection of local beer and mixed drinks you can sip with your pizza. Global Café is open until 10 on Fridays & Saturdays and has a full bar that serves until midnight on the weekends. But, we understand if you cannot wait until the weekend because they also have a fantastic taco Tuesday deal. Stop by Mempops or Area51 ice cream for some dessert. Find out more about all of the food options here.
There’s a lot to see around the building. Crosstown Arts Gallery on the second floor has rotating displays of contemporary art available and you can cruise the galleries for free. Throughout the Concourse, walls are filled with local photography and murals of all sizes. You can stop in to the Music Listening Lab within the East Atrium for curated collected of music and a space to listen.
Crosstown Concourse also has a little bit of retail and some helpful services in its West Atrium. There’s a pharmacy/ convenience store and a FedEx Office. Feel free to let your hair down at Hero and Sage- a full service hair salon. Then continue on and make an appointment or walk-in for a mani or pedi at Gloss Nail Bar.
Crosstown doesn’t quiet down at night. Live music can often be found at The Green Room at Crosstown Arts. Right next to the Green Room is Art Bar, specializing in craft cocktails. You can grab a drink before you head into a show at the Green Room, or simply post up at the bar and strike up a conversation with artsy types, or settle into one of the cozy nooks of mid-century sofas and armchairs with your friends. For a completely different vibe, there’s Crosstown Brewing Company‘s taproom. Check out their events calendar for comedy nights and other local entertainment. Live music events are also hosted at the new Crosstown Theater, a brand new venue located behind the main building.
